Handling and Engagement

For training to be successful, the dog must be a willing and active participant.
Dogs will learn:
- To focus on the handler
- To become invested in the training process
- To develop a high level of engagement
- To focus on training in the presence of distractions and other dogs
- Sit, Down, Spot, Come, Loose Leash Walking with Attention
Handlers will learn:
- To communicate clearly with a clicker
- To communicate with verbal markers
- To communicate with body language
- Good leash skills
- To teach your dog to think and offer behaviors independently (this is the strongest type of learning)

Class sizes range from 4-6 dogs
COST: 4 week class/$200
**Please make sure you are available for all 4 classes. We may be able to offer make up classes with an additional fee of $30 per class. Make up classes are dependent on our trainerโs time and availability.
