This class focuses on introducing a variety of experiences during the sensitive period of development.Being thoughtful and proactive during this period can prevent behavioral problems as your dog matures.Skills We Will Work On:
- Discussing how to set up and manage your house to prevent problem behaviors
- Understanding how to properly socialize your dog to people and other dogs
- Teaching your dog to be comfortable around sounds, different surfaces and in new environments
- Preparing your puppy for vet visits, grooming appointments and nail trims
- Helping you understand the Learning Theory and how to build a relationship with your dog through training
- Introducing a clicker
- Shaping the basic training behaviors Sit, Down, Go to a Spot and Come
